Pitcher Partners on board to shop major stake in Victorian bus group

The family behind one of Victoria’s largest privately owned bus operators, Dysons Group, is setting a course for expansion and has brought in Pitcher Partners to help it find a deep-pocketed capital partner.

The advisory firm has hit the road with a majority stake in Dysons, pitching its fleet of 600 buses and coaches as a stable, infrastructure-like opportunity with more than 90 per cent of its revenue contracted from government sources. The business has been operating for more than 70 years.
