Pemba’s defence tech play Aurizn inks bolt-on; two more in the wings

Pemba Capital Partners’ Aurizn has made its first bolt-on acquisition and installed a new chief executive as the defence technology company sets its sights on offshore expansion.

Street Talk understands Aurizn has purchased a majority interest in Brisbane-based governance advisory firm McR Defence from law firm McCullough Robertson. As part of the deal, McCullough Robertson partner Brett Sangster has been elevated to the top job and will see Aurizn through its next growth phase.
