Listed investment company stalwart Milton Corporation is on track to disappear without a trace, after nearly 60 years on the ASX boards.

Back before Sydney Airport, Afterpay and BHP Petroleum were high-profile takeover targets, Milton Corporation’s board signed a $4 billion all-scrip deal to fold into an even older ASX mainstay, Washington H Soul Pattinson & Co.
