Brazilian oil play Karoon Energy boss Julian Fowles’ recent globe-trotting has investors thinking the company could be back knocking at their doors, asking their support for an M&A deal and associated funding package.
Fowles was in Brazil this time last week, hosting investors and analysts at its oil wells. That trip followed a non-deal roadshow in the United Kingdom earlier in September, organised by one of its house advisers, Macquarie Capital.
