Hess undecided on Woodside deal
The US oil company is still in talks with three parties about gas sales deals in Western Australia.
Hess, the US oil company that owns half of the WA-404-P licence offshore Western Australia in partnership with Woodside Petroleum , said on Thursday it had still not decided how it planned to commercialise its share of the gas.
“We’re working with three different parties down there," Hess’s president of exploration and production, Greg Hill, said. “We’ve have made no decisions on which liquefaction route we’re going to take because we’re still in commercial discussions, and we want to make sure we understand all the resources on the block before we make any decisions."
