Listed financier Pioneer Credit has lost the support of its proposed buyer and major lender – all in the course of the Easter weekend.

Pioneer shares tanked on Tuesday morning after the unsecured retail loans company revealed a serious falling out with suitor and secured creditor The Carlyle Group.
