Avita Medical taps Bell Potter to raise $40m

Regenerative medicine company Avita Medical is seeking to raise up to $40 million to fund its American launch and for research and development.
Stockbroker Bell Potter Securities was in the market offering new shares at 8.2¢ each on Friday, which was a 2.4 per cent discount to the last close and a 14.4 per cent discount to the 30-day volume weighted average price, according to terms sent to potential investors.
