Is Archer Capital finally about to deploy part of its $1.5 billion war chest? It is almost 2½ years since Archer raised its fifth fund in December 2011 and is yet to make a meaningful acquisition despite making a play for New Zealand’s Abano Healthcare and Transpacific ’s Kiwi waste unit, among other targets.
But this might be about to change. Sources said Archer had again registered its interest in serviced apartment and accommodation provider Mantra Group.
