Two of Australia’s richest women, Gina Rinehart and Fiona Geminder, have called for the government to turbocharge the economy by investing in infrastructure and stimulating business investment to build on the nation’s success in navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs Rinehart, who owns the lion’s share of the roaring Roy Hill iron ore mine in the Pilbara, tops the inaugural Financial Review Rich Women List published on International Women’s Day as part of a week-long series showcasing the nation’s top female business builders and wealth creators.
