Rich Lister couple's $5m bet on the future of cricket
Cathie Reid and Stuart Giles made a $550 million fortune in healthcare. Now they're ploughing some of that money into businesses ranging from tattoo removal to a short-season cricket competition.
Partners in life and business, the Brisbane-based couple have invested up to $5 million to roll out the Australian Premier League nationally this year. Co-investors include former Australian cricket great Ian Healy and commentator Mark Nicholas.
