In December, Cbus chairman and Labor Party president Wayne Swan took to the stage in a niche historical re-enactment.

He was playing a peacekeeping umpire named Edmund Barton (yes, that one) in a retelling of the Sydney Riot of 1879, which was sparked by a contested call at the Sydney Cricket Ground. It was part of a live taping of (exceedingly) cerebral cricketing podcast The Final Word. Hey: you had to be there.
