Less than 24 hours after Chris Ellison’s AGM avoidance masterclass, Perth’s business clique had already moved on to more important matters. That is, the first Test between Australia and India that started on Friday morning at Optus Stadium.
Day one of the summer’s first Test would be up there as West Australia’s biggest annual event. Friday’s crowd of 31,302 actually broke the record for attendance at a Perth Test match.
