Corporates and fellow business scribes will be digesting this week for quite some time. Not only did Virgin’s Jayne Hrdlicka head to the departures lounge, but Brad Banducci startled even us with his decision to bring forward his retirement, after an iconic and now ironic dig at Rod Sims.

Brad’s demise won’t interrupt the political arrows aimed at Woolworths. They’re why the grocery giant sought the help of Stephen Conroy’s lobby shop TG Public Affairs, which signed Woolies as a client in January this year.
