It’s been more than three years since ASIC commenced civil proceedings against ex-Quintis boss Frank Wilson. But the much-delayed case will soon go to trial, after a judge gave his blessing for a key ASIC witness to give evidence via video-link.

ASIC has since June 2018 been trying to have Wilson banned from managing companies, alleging that the sandalwood entreprenuer was aware of the cancellation of a key contract but failed to tell his board, in a breach of his director’s duties.
