Myriam RobinRear Window editorWhen the likes of chairman David Murray, director John O’Sullivan, chief executive Francesco De Ferrari and AMP Australia chief Alex Wade filled AMP’s board and executive vacancies following the Hayne royal commission, many remarked that the place had been taken over by investment bankers. Particularly of the Credit Suisse variety, the bank having at one point or another employed each of the above.
This being AMP, they didn’t survive long. Within three years of Murray’s arrival, only O’Sullivan is still at the staggeringly disaster-prone company. Leaving us to ponder the character of the replacement cohort.
