Poseidon forgets its cleansing notices
Myriam RobinRear Window editorAndrew Forrest-backed Poseidon Nickel has become the latest company to fall foul of disclosure practices, having been forced to place its shares in a trading halt until a hopefully expedited Federal Court order allows them to trade again.
Poseidon's issue is that it hasn't been issuing cleansing notices to accompany its 3B share issuances. Such cleansing notices are meant to be issued before new share issuances can trade on the ASX, but appear to have been missing from Poseidon's disclosures for, Poseidon's chairman Chris Indermaur vaguely told us, "some years".
