When Prospa shares rocketed from 52¢ to 82¢ on Thursday, April 9 last year, the 57 per cent rally “on increased volumes” triggered a “please explain” from the Australian Securities Exchange. Particularly given the good news announced by the company five days later on 14 April: it had been included in the government’s Coronavirus SME Guarantee Scheme.
