Despite Singapore-based start-up accelerator Eight Mercatus advertising itself as a “dream weaver, and magic maker” for its clients, the aspirations of ASX-listed Holista to work with it nearly landed it in the Singapore High Court.

This whacky tale started when Perth-based health food retailer Holista used its half-year report to complain about Eight Mercatus USA’s “disappointing performance” as a partner paid to distribute dietary supplement products in the US.
