Media Super changes CEOs, but chairmanship still eternal

After seven years at the helm of industry fund Media Super, chief executive officer Graeme Russell will next month step down to focus on his recovery from recent ill health, while remaining as an adviser to the $5 billion fund until July 2020. He'll be replaced by COO Tony Griffin.

Media Super chairman Gerard Noonan, a former editor of this newspaper, lauded Russell's performance, citing him as the reason for the fund's "spectacular reversal of investment performance in recent years".
