How intriguing that Jerry Hall, wife of conservative media proprietor Rupert Murdoch, donated $500 to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign last month. According to recent filings with the US Federal Election Commission, she also donated $1000 to Pete Buttigieg’s campaign in February.
These are token contributions, and Hall has a mind of her own, yet the temptation to conceive of these as wily Murdoch machinations is nigh-on overwhelming.
