Is Labor offering salvation for sinful industry funds?

Not to be outdone on the stupidity front by Scott Morrison’s religious discrimination bill, the Opposition’s financial services spokesman, Stephen Jones, on Monday pledged to “end super fund religious discrimination”.
The bizarre promise seeks to force the prudential regulator to go easy on poor-performing superannuation funds if those nest egg managers have a religious affiliation.
