Directors of the Victorian branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (a.k.a. IOOF) were last week hung out to dry by APRA, which alleges they haven't understood their legal obligation to put the interests of their superannuation members before those of all others.
It's slightly uncanny to see a regulator actually taking such action. From small caps to the ASX 100, the rather strict rules around managing other people's money seem to be honoured more in the breach than the observance.
