Friday marked outgoing ASIC commissioner Sean Hughes’ last day at the corporate cop. In one respect at least, it left something to be desired.

“I would have loved to send a final message of gratitude to my colleagues and stakeholders at ASIC today,” Hughes lamented on LinkedIn. “Regrettably I could not.”
