DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik has his hands full at the moment. Not only is he in charge of a company whose share price has plummeted more than 50 per cent in the past month – he’s also undertaking a renovation.
DroneShield’s current stresses are largely of his own making. It was a mass sell-off of more than $70 million of shares in the weapons company by Vornik, chair Peter James and director Jethro Marks that triggered the price drop, and their silence since which allowed the freefall to continue.
