As long-term chairman, the accountant led M2 through over 20 mergers and acquisitions, helping build the telecoms behemoth that merged with Vocus in 2016. In recent months he's also joined the boards of Murray River Organics and Bulletproof Group, both of which he now chairs. This year, all three companies have had to issue embarrassing earnings downgrades – though that's rarely all that's gone wrong.
