It was December 2023 when the international boss of global corporate communications powerhouse Morrow Sodali, Christian Sealey, made his second big play for Australian relevance by buying local shop Domestique.

Domestique was headed up by Ross Thornton, Jim Kelly and Lauren Thompson, a trio of high-end corporate spinners who have seemingly sold their various firms to overseas parents more times than most people have had hot lunches. The deal followed Morrow Sodali’s purchase of Brett Clegg and Peter Brookes’ Citadel-Magnus a year earlier.
