Bell Potter's Gordo plugs Corporate Travel, sells his
Joe AstonColumnistWe had almost too much fun last month at the expense of Bell Potter’s head of institutional sales, Jamie Gordon, after the boneheaded broker composed and circulated an investment thesis of spectacular imprecision on Corporate Travel Management.
For those who’d forgotten, Gordo reasoned that shares in Jamie Pherous’ faltering roll-up are “very cheap” – both because “acquisitions are unlikely this fiscal year” and “a clean year… could enable [the] market to see the cash flow and organic growth”, and because a “new chair I would assume is in the works, allowing [Tony] Bellas to resign like he wanted to last year.” Oh, and Amazon.
