HWL Ebsworth insists the staff member whose coronavirus test resulted in a whole floor of its Melbourne office being sent home for the week on Monday wasn't at work while infectious and contracted the coronavirus as a result of "home transmissions". It still insists that's the case and "all close contacts" so far tested have turned up negative results.

Just bad luck, then, that in the past few days, a further two staff members have also tested positive, across two of the four levels it occupies in a Collins Street high-rise.
