Last week we got the news that ASX-listed 5G Networks' takeover bid for Webcentral Group had taken another dramatic twist, with the resignation of Webcentral's chair Andrew Reitzer and director Karl Siegling.

Webcentral is the smouldering remnants of Melbourne IT and Arq Group. The board members quit after 5G Networks' scrip-for-scrip takeover bid closed last week, with 57 per cent of Webcentral's shareholders accepting the offer.
