By buying in cheap and selling out some of their holdings early, unitholders in 8IP's emerging companies fund 8EC most certainly made a profit on their investment in now arguably worthless Big Un. But a vehicle associated with Kerry Series, the chief investment officer of the fund, may have done even better.
