Mascot unit launched legal proceedings a year ago

Owners of evacuated residential tower Mascot Towers in inner-south Sydney voted a year ago to take legal action against the developer of an adjoining building and the local council seeking compensation for slip-joint defects.

Exclusive documents obtained by The Australian Financial Review show owners started the process of pursuing developer Aland Developments mid last year to rectify cracks in the building and units said to be caused by the construction of the neighbouring apartment building Peak Towers.
