Melbourne developer Riverlee is hoping to transform a historic Docklands cargo wharf on the northern banks of the Yarra into a new $300 million luxury hotel and apartment development.

The private developer, founded by Malaysian-Australian architect Clement Lee, has submitted plans to build a 180-room hotel, 250 waterfront apartments and a new 3500-square-metre maritime park on the site of the Northbank Goods Shed.
