Ardent Leisure theme park attendance, revenues fell in March and April

Ardent Leisure said its theme parks visitor numbers and revenue fell by more than one-third in March and February and predicted a full-year EBITDA loss of up to $4 million for the embattled division.

In the latest monthly update by the company that last month said chief executive Deborah Thomas would step aside, Ardent said visitor numbers fell 36.7 per cent in the two month period and revenue dropped 38.9 per cent from a year earlier after higher rainfall put off families during the Easter and Anzac Day long weekends and school holidays.
