Homebuilder Simonds is about to mark its first year of trading as a publicly listed company with a share price that has shed value and a chief executive who is on the way out.
The company chairman Gary Simonds founded in 1949 – and which makes one-third of its profit from vocational training – is further dogged by negative sentiment towards the private education sector.
