The combination of good food, wine and country golf has been enough to lure rugby union great Phil Kearns and his wife, Julie, out of Mosman and west over the Dividing Range to the regional hub of Orange.

The former Wallaby captain and his family have just bought a nine-hectare lifestyle retreat on the outskirts of the central western NSW town, complete with an ornamental lake and luxury five-bedroom farmhouse.
