Private equity heavyweight sells $11m Paddington terrace

Quadrant Private Equity’s managing partner Alex Eady and wife Jodie have quietly sold their home in Sydney’s Paddington for $10.81 million in the latest example of the growing number of not-so-humble inner-city Victorian-period terraces cracking the double-digit price bracket.

Mr Eady, who co-heads Quadrant’s buyout business alongside Gareth Woodbridge, purchased the property from high-profile litigator Amanda Banton, of Banton Group, paying $7.4 million in 2018. Ms Banton redesigned the Sutherland Street abode, which manages to pack a lot onto its diminutive block.
