One of New Zealand's wealthiest families, the Cushings, have become substantial holders in ASX-listed holiday and accommodation park owner and operator Aspen Group.

An initial substantial holder notice filed by Aspen this week shows family scion David Cushing has accumulated a 5.04 per cent shareholding in the company. His father is famed New Zealand businessman Sir Selwyn Cushing.
