Retired AFL great Buddy Franklin and his model and businesswoman wife Jesinta have listed their Gold Coast hinterland home, known as Villa Casa, about two years after they bought the contemporary resort-style mansion for $8.75 million.

Speaking exclusively to AFR Weekend, Jesinta said the decision to sell did not signal a return to city life, after leaving Sydney’s east ahead of their interstate relocation in 2023 to the hinterland suburb of Reedy Creek, about a 15-minute drive from Burleigh Beach.
