A Rose Bay beachfront has sold for about $55 million, clocking a record for the suburb in Sydney’s blue chip east and firing the starter gun on the harbour city’s 2025 trophy home selling season.
The hefty price was achieved for the Dumaresq Road beachfront owned by recycled shopping bag businessman Frank Qiang Geng and Juanjuan Zhao, who initially shopped the five-bedroom mansion around for $75 million off-market in June last year, before meeting the market with a $55 million guide.
