The family home that entrepreneurial couple Daniel and Danielle Besen built, but then separated before they could move into, has sold for $26.25 million.

The 9 Towers Road mansion, which covers more than 2300 square metres in Toorak and has an underground art gallery, sold for less than the $30 million price tag at which it was advertised, but still a Victorian record.
