Developers who more than tripled their money after buying and selling a $26 million development site are sceptical about Brisbane's apartment boom and will diversify into houses and land outside the city.

Pointcorp, founded by Chris Vitale and Paul Gedoun, has $486 million in high-end apartments being built across Brisbane but the company has quietly made four land acquisitions outside the city centre, setting up a 1400-lot workbook of house and land packages.
