Lantern Hotel Group delivered a net loss of $2.16 million for the half year ended December 2013, down from a profit of $2.2 million for the prior corresponding period. Revenue rose 12.3 per cent. The loss was due to one-off factors, including a reduction in interest income of $3.5 million due to the application of the Panthers Unit Property Trust proceeds against borrowings, a $2 milion write-down of property, plant and equipment and a $1 million goodwill write-down.
