Rich Lister Richard White has leased a third of his considerable Mascot land holdings to advanced solar manufacturer 5B in a move that he says supports a rapidly growing business, but which also expands the footprint of Sydney’s technology companies south beyond the city fringe.

Mr White, whose ownership of logistics software company WiseTech Global gave him an estimated wealth of $4.1 billion in this year’s Financial Review Rich List, said the growth of 5B, which has taken 11,800 square metres of his land as part of a wider leasing deal, reflected his own journey.
