Quintis receivers put sandalwood trees, factory up for sale

An essential oil distillation plant and more than 2000 hectares of Indian sandalwood plantations in Queensland and Western Australia are being marketed by Elders as part of the liquidation of failed sandalwood grower Quintis.

The properties were put on the market after creditors voted last month to wind up what was once the world’s biggest sandalwood producer, following unsuccessful attempts by administrators to sell the BlackRock-owned business and its assets.
