Primewest to turn berry and citrus trust into long WALE agri REIT

Primewest director David Schwartz said the fund manager was "ready to go" on a series of acquisitions that would expand and transform the portfolio of the Vitalharvest Freehold Trust, after full-year earnings fell 16 per cent due to its sole tenant Costa Group enduring a poor berry and citrus harvest.

"There are three to four properties we are looking at very closely. We are keen to grow the platform. Agriculture is very much in vogue at the moment," Mr Schwartz told The Australian Financial Review.
