New England aggregation sold for first time in 173 years

A Queensland grazier family has ended 173 years’ ownership of the Dunvegan aggregation in the NSW New England region by the Sloman family after buying it at auction for $9.5 million.
The 1765-hectare breeding and fattening property on Nine Mile Road, north of Glen Innes, was first farmed by pioneering Scottish immigrant John Sloman in 1848.
