Martin Monro departs Watpac to make way for Lendlease's Ben O'Rourke

Three months after declaring he was "excited" about leading newly de-listed Watpac, chief executive and managing director Martin Monro has decided to part ways with the Brisbane-based contractor, which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Belgian's Besix Group.

Mr Monro, who has been with Watpac for 15 years – seven of them as chief executive – will leave on June 3 to pursue other opportunities.
