Macquarie brings data centre to Canberra cloud

ASX-listed Macquarie Telecom Group will build a new data centre in Canberra, tapping increasing government demand for its cloud and cyber security services.
It will be known as the Intellicentre 5 Bunker, or IC5, at its Canberra campus. Macquarie plans to begin work on the $17 million first stage of the facility in July.
