Succession planning challenges facing Australia’s ageing farming community are fuelling the expansion of agricultural asset manager AAM, which has struck a deal with the Vickery family to buy historic Bective Station near Tamworth.

While pricing remains confidential, it is understood that AAM paid more than $50 million for the versatile 4053-hectare property, which has only been owned by two families since being settled in the early 1800s.
