Charter Hall Long WALE REIT is preparing to offload the former Virgin Australia headquarters in Brisbane and will do so at a significant discount if it can not find long-term tenants to fill the empty office campus.

The ASX-listed owner of the Bowen Hills office asset was left in the lurch in July after the struggling airline, the property's only tenant, announced it would leave the premises six years before the end of its lease.
